You can get so much better for so much cheaper than this hotel!! First of all this place is located at the Dam side. Which means that it is completely isolated from the lake side quaint coffee shops and restaurants and does not let you experience the true Pokhara beauty. The property by it self is very well maintained, however... More

When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted warmly in the traditional Nepali manner. After, we got to our room, the first thing I loved about the it was the view of the impressive machapuchare from the room Veranda. The garden of the hotel was big and had some wonderful plants flowers and birds. You can even buy fish... More

This hotel was lovely set in really nice gardens. The food here was very good, a better choice than in previous hotels, plus more sweets to choose from, but food is still all uncovered. During lunch outside there were loads of flies, plus indoors. We were due to have dinner out and l was a bit concerned, but they burned citronella... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Shangri-La Village. After 5 days of trekking it was a great place to wind down and relax. A 5 minute taxi drive from Lakeside and nothing much to see in its immediate area, but once inside the gardens surrounding the rooms make it a lovely place to sit and relax. Nice if not... More

This place is a perfect spot to enjoy some luxury while in Nepal. The setting looking over the Annapurna range is amazing. We had the most amazing massages while we stayed there and the rooms are definitely much nicer than any where else we stayed in or saw during our stay in Nepal. I think what set it above however... We stayed in 6 hotels on our tour and I consider this hotel was the best. The rooms were spacious, airy and clean. The views of the mountains were fabulous and the gardens very colourful. There was a great swimming pool and friendly staff. Food by Nepalese standards was good. What more could you ask?
