My husband and I are staying at Pokhara Star in as I write this review. Narayan, the owner and his wife are extremely kind and accommodating. They are always asking us if everything is alright. Narayan picked us up from the bus station free of charge and brought us back to his lovely hotel. The rooms are very clean, and... More

Arriving from India on a bicycle, this place was recommended to me by a fellow cyclist who already stayed here for a longer time. It is located in a quiet residencial area just 1 km away from the Lakeside, a perfect location to be in the middle of everything and though still be able to get away from it when... More

We arrived in Pokhara early afternoon on a beautiful December's day. Narayan, the owner of the hotel came to greet us from where we had been dropped off in the centre of town which was such a nice touch and took us to the hotel which was in fact only a five minute walk from the lakeside. It was perfect... More

We didn't actually stay with Jamuna and her family but actually went here for an authentic Nepalese cookery lesson, where we learnt to cook the local dish, Dal Bhat. She was so welcoming and proud of her lovely guest house which was immaculate. We would have stayed here had we been in Pokhara for longer. Anyone looking for this place... More

We were lucky enough to be able to stay in the Pokhara Star Inn for almost 10 days. Since the rooms of the hotel are situated inside the house of the owners, it certainly makes you feel at home very soon. Everything is taken care of in an extremely nice and helpful manner. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and... More

I stayed her before it was complete. This family run business made every effort to make my stay fantastic and it was. Lovely clean and very hot showers. Just what I needed after the Annapurna circuit. Would recommend to anyone.

We stayed here for a week, spotlessly clean, well back of the road and away from the noise and hussle of Lakeside, but only a short walk into the center. Spacious rooms, good size bathroom, the family will cook you local food if required and the place has free WI-FI and Kingsize beds with cotton sheets. All in all you... More

Very nice, small and quiet place 8 min walk from lakeside. Still easy to find restaurant nearby. We had an apartment with our own kitchen so we could save a lot by cooking. We rented a motorcycle so it was very easy to get around. Also easy to park safely by the hotel.
