The reviews were right! It's a very new and clean hotel with indeed a splendid view (lake or mountains), minutes from all the shops and restaurants, they provide Wi-Fi, staff is very friendly and the prices are correct. I don't know why I would go anywhere else!!

We found the Splendid View comfortable with good sized rooms. Some rooms have a wet room (shower/toilet) attached, some have a bath tub with overhead shower and toilet attached.All rooms have balconies with some mountain or lake views. The place was spotless. Good value for money

This hotel was in an excellent position near the lake with great mountain views. Endless hot water which is exactly what we needed after none in Kathmandu. Beds were comfortable. Helpful reception, they organised flights to/from kathmandu for us at a great price.

The hotel was conveniently located just back from the lake in Pokhra. The area was very quiet. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were very clean. Like most places in Nepal you have hot water when the power is on. There was free wifi either remotely or through computers in the foyer. The breakfast was good.
