We were lucky in having incredible weather, blue cloudless skies and full moon at night.
All in our party of five arose early to watch the sunrise on the Annapurna range.
The hotel itself is a bit quirky, and thats its charm.
The food was good, if a little erratic. The rooms were delightful, clean and quiet.

What I valued the most about this hotel, is that it is unlike any other in Pokhara. For the few days I stayed at Peace Dragon Lodge, I felt very much removed from the hustle-and-bustle of the tourist centre. I awoke to the most spectacular views of the Annapurna's and Phewa Lake. This is why I came to Nepal.... to...

This charming 'boutique' bed and breakfast style lodge is set in the most awesome location imaginable. An hours walk through the jungle from Pokhara (or a jeep/taxi ride up the back road) is rewarded with amazing views of Pokhara, Phewa lake and the magestic Annapurna range. I laughed reading a previous review complaining about the unrealiabitiy of hot water and...

I agree that the location could be spectacular, however, unfortunately, for our two nights there, it was cloudy and misty - consequently giving a sombre feeling to the hotel, and, due to a reliance on solar power - no HOT WATER - which is very important when you come back from a 4-day trek, looking forward to a little luxury...

I stayed here last October (2010) for four nights and it was a fantastic experience.. the location is amazing - be prepared to walk half an hour down to road but to me, this made it all the more beautiful and so quiet and peaceful.. the staff were very nice and met me at the airport and drove me back...

Thank you for your lovely report Kim. I am delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay with us so much. You'll be interested to know that soon after your visit late last year, we doubled our number of solar water-heating panels, so hot water should now flow all the time, not just 'sometimes'! We hope you'll visit again some day.

The location of the Peace Dragon, I feel, is it's only real attraction. It has a wonderful view of Phewa lake, Pokhara, the Annapurna mountains (weather permitting), and is minutes from the Peace Pagoda; it also has a nice roof with seating to enjoy the view.
The staff were a bit strange, and when we arrived they didn't know my...

Thank you for your review. I was away for a couple of weeks in the UK when you arrived, but I can assure you that there should have been hot water. I understand from the staff that there was a temporary problem when you were there (due in part to over-use) but that was quickly resolved. Upon my return from...

you want to love this place, and you end up doing so...dragon lodge straddles between the lofty world peace stupa and the rocky path down to the pehwa lake and pokhara town below, perched above in the hilltop with an unrivaled view of the annapurna range afar. the lodge is in a state of "pre-launch", rooms can be a bit...

We stayed here recently for two nights, and it was one of the best of the entire trip (and we stayed at various places, from $10 a night crapola rooms to 5-star luxury chains).
Peace Dragon Lodge really stood out for the clean and homey rooms, hot showers, spectacular views (you wake up the BEST view of the Annapurna range...

Thank you for your kind review on Peace Dragon Lodge. You'll be glad to hear that since you came they have laid tarmac on another section of the road you found difficult on your motorbike - eventually they plan to get to the top, but Nepal is Nepal, and progress is never fast. Little by little they'll get there! Hope...
