We stayed here on two seperate occasions during our stay in Nepal. Service was always excellent. Great selection at buffet breakfast. A modern hotel, with clean rooms and bathroom. One complimentary bottle of water on a daliy basis. Good Tv channels. Spa on site where we had very good massages. Would definitely stay here again. Right on the main street,... More

My husband and I stayed at the Mount Kailash Hotel in Pokhara for a few nights after our Annapurna trek and had a very good time. The hotel is very well maintained. The grounds and room were clean and pleasant and the staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel is just two minutes walk from the center of Lakeside with... More

The hotel, modern and closer to a motel than a Nepali hotel - with big bathrooms - is on Lakeside. The staff are beyond friendly, obliging and helpful. There are beautiful flowers in the garden, the room we had was spacious. Breakfast was good. Bed was hard but comfortable. Shuttle from the airport was great. The other shoe drops: hot... More

Initially we were a bit disappointed with this property as the room we were given was musty, the walls need cleaning and there were ants that kept crawling onto to the bed from the side table. When we raised the issue with management they were very courteous and offered to move us straight away. It seems that they are aware... More

We went to Pokhara on our honeymoon and at first we were disappointed at our surroundings....until we reached our hotel! Our hotel changed our entire perspective and it was by far the best hotel to stay at in Pokhara! The room was clean and had breakfast included; the spread was marvellous and we stuffed ourselves with food every morning! The... More

I booked a room on Mount Kailash's website and paid a $36 deposit. When we arrived with our printed confirmation, we were told that the hotel was full and they would not honor our reservation. I've now lost countless hours following up with the management of Mount Kailash and realized that I will never get my $36 back. The frustrating... More

This is an excellent property located at the Lakeside area in Pokhara. The staff was nice and courteous. The rooms were clean and neat and spacious. The food served in the restaurant was also tasty and the breakfast spread was not large but decent. We were housed on the ground level room with the doors opening to well manicured lawns... More

This resort spoil our trip, serves down-market stale foods like croissant, bread, cake etc, very boring rooms, staff and service. My husband and me had very bad experience of food poisoning after having breakfast of this resort. I highly don't recommend this resort to travelers. Aliza

The hotel was very clean and tidy . the location was very good in between market and Fewa lake . good restaurant and its dinning space . the very name justifies the existence of excellent view of snow capped mountain (not Kailash) from the garden area between the two wings of the hotel . what I liked most is the... While it ain't cheap (compared to Nepal, of course) - it is very clean, and can easily be considered as a 4* hotel in Europe. The location is OK, being not in the middle of the action but ~5 - 10 minutes from the center. The views from the rooms and garden are outstanding. The breakfast buffet is also very... More
