I went with friends and we got the two rooms in the fifth floor that share one bathroom (in any case, I only had to share the bathroom with friends so it's alright.) The B&B has a very homey feel. At 20USD per night for a double room, I think I really got my money's worth. I'm rating it based... More

Stayed for 6 nights (me, husband and our 3 y.o. girl), enjoyed a free pick-up from the airport and a spacious room with extremely comfortable beds. Asmita and her family were very friendly and willing to help whenever we needed. Power backup battery kept us online almost all the time (being freelancers we have to check emails and sort things... You don't come to Nepal for the accommodation and as far as rooms go, this was probably one of the best. Spacious, nice decor, clean, tidy etc. It is a small (four rooms) B&B in a family home so there was a sense that you were intruding in family life a bit - especially as the bathrooms are all outside... Stayed here in January 2013 with my girlfriend. I stayed two nights before we moved to Pohkara, and two nights before we flew out of Nepal. The room was large and very clean. The staffs were were very kind and hospitable. It was really nice to return to a quiet and peaceful room after walking in the busy streets.

We stayed here as a family in march 2013 and had 2 rooms and one shared bedroom. The rooms are big, nice and clean and the mattresses (in nepali standard) very good. There are a nice atmosphere, breakfast is good, the place is quiet and still very central i Thamel.

3 of us from Singapore had a wonderful stay at Asmita BB thanks to the hospitality and kind attention of Asmita's and Dharma's family members. We stayed at the spacious and clean Puigsacalm Room on the 3rd floor with our own toilet outside. I felt safe when I was alone on the last night of my stay (as my friends... More

We stayed as a family with two small children (6&8 years old) for a week and loved it. The roof terrace gives a great view over Kathmandu and the location is great ... just on the edge of Thamel, close enough to walk everywhere, yet a bit away from the noise. The rooms were clean and the family that runs... More

We had an AMAZING stay in Asmita B&B. We were warm welcomed by Dharma and Asmita. This place is a small family business, which makes it very personal, and gives it a cosy homefeeling. The rooms are very clean and fresh decorated. The breakfast was very complete and good. There's a good wifi connection and there's always basic electricity thanks... More

Our visit to this property din't start very well as we had arranged a airport pick up and there was nobody there with our name on board as promised. Standing outside the airport for over one hour, rejected all the advances from the touts, we were approched by somebody claiming to represent Asmita and that he had Dharma on his... More
