Good view of the river and Thimpu, but too far to walk to town. Soulless rooms, though OK for an overnight stay. Food was OK, with great Kheer (rice pudding spiced with cardamom).

Renovations are being done so that will lift the standard. It was a very comfortable hotel with a great view of the river and the city. The distance from the town was not a problem as we had our tour van which was great. The food was good with a bit of variety including traditional Bhutanese dishes. Loved the momos!

If you join a packaged tour for Bhutan, you will likely to be in this hotel when in Thimphu.
