Unfortunately I was very disappointed. I think this hotel was something special in the 80s or when it was first built. Sadly, it appears that nothing has been done to maintain the place since. It is very dark and dingy, the roof leaked into my room (and it rains heavily here), many of the staff are unhelpful and very slow,... More

First visit to Uganda so I was unsure about the quality and nature of the hotels in the city. Stayed for a week in an Executive room at $75 plus tax. Can only speak highly of this hotel. This hotel is lovely. The staff are friendly and make you feel right at home. Security is excellent, with in room safes and people watching all entrances. The room are starting to take on a out of date seventies look but the are comfortable and well appointed. The buffet breakfast is excellent. The other restaurants provide good food at good... More
