Where do I start? The person (woman) at the reception/front desk was very unprofessional. I called from overseas to check to see that my family member had arrived and checked in okay and i was treated to rudeness!!!!!!! Because I did not know his room number I was shut down and told there are many 'bazungu' (white people) there and... More

Situated downtown on busy street. Ok if you have a room at the back or middle as quieter. Reasonably clean but questionable electrics - wires hanging out of walls etc. Main issue for me was poor service, especially in the restaurant. Unfriendly, slow, and inflexible. Having said that, it is probably one of the cheaper hotels around

For $30 per night for an air-conditioned double it is a reasonable price with helpful staff, wireless Internet, and clean sheets. But you get what you pay for: the bare minimum. Our room was not vacuumed under the bed and we couldn't stop sneezing and the duvet covers on top of the sheets were full of dust. There were cobwebs... More

Stayed here for one night on our way through Kampala. At 60,000 we felt the room was a much better value than Red Chilli's where we had previously spent a couple nights. The hotel is conveniently located in the downtown with lots of cafes and transport links in the area. The rooms are large, bright with a queen-sized comfortable bed... More

After a month camping in Uganda to arrive at this hotel was a pleasant suprise. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is situated on one of the busiest roads I have ever come across and so the noise continues throughout the night. It is opposite a mosque which has speakers on the roof so everyone can... More

First of all, this hotel is not expensive, in fact it was cheap and it provided a transfer from the airport. All communication with the hotel via internet was good and as promised the transfer was waiting for us even although our flight landed about an hour late. I felt the cost of the transfer was very fair too. I... More

This hotel truly is a great deal. We paid $23 for a double room. I am certainly not complaining about that but I do think there are some things reviewers should know before they book or decide to stay here. This hotel is smack dab in the heart of downtown Kampala. This is NOT a good thing. The street that... More

Stayed here for 2 nights and was really pleased at what you got for your money. Great location in the middle of town, if in a slightly mad street, but I think most of Kampala is like that. Room was clean, felt safe, friendly staff, quick turn around and cheap washing service. Ate in the hotel restaurant twice and it... More
