Apparently there is a small building at this site still offering accommodation whilst restoration is being performed. It is on the water front, and is overlooked by Bitumani. The road to Kimbima, like most roads, is VERY BAD.

Kimbima was my third hotel in Freetown and it was the best. The staff were great so ask for "chairman". The food was good also and always available. I did have a problem with the hot water but it did not matter much. I liked the proximity to Lumley Beach whcih you must visit (ignore the trash) and swim

I visited Sierra Leone in in March and found the hotel very nice, safe, and the people very friendly. The rooms were clean and I enjoyed great ocean views. The food was good and the wait staff was tops. When I travel to Sierra Leone again I would not think of any other place to stay.

Kimbima Hotel is a clean and friendly hotel. The staff was cheerful and helpful. The food was delicous and the view is amazing.
