The hotel is somewhat basic but the rooms are clean and adequate. It does seem a bit over-priced however. There is a restaurant area that serves good meals. This is a really basic hotel, and unfortunately, the staff stole the battery out of my mobile phone during the last few days of my stay here. God knows what else they would have stolen if I had stayed there longer. There are many budget alternatives in Kigali these days. Don't bother with this place.

Rooms were clean with plenty of hot water and good pressure, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Nice breakfast every morning that included an omelet (you have to ask). No AC, but fans in every room. Ask for a room in the back --- quieter at night, and you wake up Sunday to singing from a nearby church.

Overall, I grew to find the Ninzi Hill Hotel very comfortable. But being from the USA, there were many adjustments I had to make initially and I will start with the negatives.
