Very enjoyable boutique hotel with its own identity. All the basics are good - good bed, proper shower, decent wireless - a rarity in "Mada". Add to this that the hotel is nicely furnished, the breakfast and service are great, location is in the middle of the city center and you can conclude that you have got a very good... More

This hotel is really nice and in a good area. Super clean and really nice rooms. The price is super cheap per night. The restaurant is really good and always full. This is a great place to stay in Tana. We were forced overnight in Tana twice between traveling through Madagascar and stayed here both times. Highly recommend.

We had the cheapestkind of room at the hotel, room 9, and it was the best room of the hotel. It is a bit noisy during the day, but the bathroom and bed are just amazing (and very cheap). The hotel is also extremely clean (which is not everywheer in Madagascar the case :-). It was a great start and... More

The corridors are like a museum. I especially liked the collection of bank notes and coins. I stayed in the Relax room. Cosy and comfortable. There was an electronic safe, so you can keep all your valuables and wander around Independence Avenue close by. The garden restaurant/bar set deep inside a maze of corridors is exceptional. Try their zebu burger... More

Madagascar is full of suprises and we needed a calm place to recover from the buzz of the streets of Tana.A maize of corridors and rooms of various standards but all good according to your budget this hotel is excellent. They have fans to keep you cool or air conditioning.A well covered patio set back deep into the hotel from the... Sadly I spent just one night at Sakamanga, but it was a charming hotel in and old part of Tana. Lots of small corridors on split levels with fascinating displays of artefacts and memorabilia from colonial times. The reception was friendly, my room was large and uniquely designed with a cool outdoor deck, and taxis to/from the airport were organised... More

Nice hotel with superb staff. Conveniently located in Tana. In house like small ethnographic museum. Avoid rooms on ground floor where usual cochroaches are common. Excellent food in their superb restaurant.
