Wanted to treat my parents for their first night in Ghana... Was not disapointed. (Standard) room nice and clean, breakfast included (very nice buffet with wide choice of food), friendly bar and easy shuttle to and from the airport. A "bit" on the expensive side though, but would do it again to treat someone special....

I have stayed in African Regent Hotel twice - first in November 2011 and last month February 2011. The staff are great- right from the reception to those who work in the rooms. I've visited the African Regent Hotel several times during festivities. The service is great! Aside the restaurant its buffet there's a life kitchen where you can order fresh food. Their events throughout the year are well thought through. This hotel is one of the rare authentic hotels in Accra with superior service!

Restaurant service is pretty bad throughout Ghana, however it is horrible at this hotel to include the room service, restaurant and bar. Good hotel located not to far from airport. the rooms are always clean and tidy and food is of good quality. the staff are always very friendly and helpfull to and you can walk to the shoperite mall not to far away. good choice for any european.
