This hotel has character! Its a little outdated but so much more inviting than the tall modern, and empty, lifeless hotels that line Addis Ababa. This hotel has green sprawling lawns and is right in the center of the city- walking distance from so many things. The grounds are beautiful and there is a nice lobby and restaurants. The hotel seems a bit outdated but is still an okay place to stay. The rooms were very basic and the tv did not work. Internet was not included and was pricey for Ethiopia. More

Despite first impressions, this isn't as bad (by ethiopian standards) as it first looks. Ghion hotel is really a hotel in the heart of addis Ababa. Very nice garden, good restaurant and Geotermal spring hot water. Good swimming pool. Good for family travel. I recommend to stay. More
