“Good bed and breakfast amongst the embassies”

The Sheba is unexpectedly located in the surrounds of a number of embassies, but that makes for a large and comfortable stay in a quiet area. A good bet when the AU or other large meetings scoop up all the accommodation at the larger hotels, and one needs to be cautious about choosing alternatives as there are plenty of ripoffs... More

I recently spent six nights at Sheba Guest House while attending a conference in Addis. The room was spacious and well-equipped, but most importantly, the staff were completely wonderful and welcoming (especially Jappi and Benyam)! My family (including our three young children) visited Addis Ababa for an extended stay (3 weeks) this past August.
