It certainly one of the best hotels you can find in Asmara city. The rooms are good, clean and the service is better than anywhere else in the city. The only drawback is the lobby which is too packed for someone that prefers privacy. More

In fact it is the best in Asmara, but this is an easy take! The lobby / reception is abit kitch and overdecorated while rooms are the opposite. The restaurant is overpriced and the quality of food is a rollercoaster. More

The hotel looks nice enough, apart from the gloomy reception, and the rooms are very pleasant. However, hot water is erratic at best and the service at breakfast is truly awful. The room was lovely and quite the best I had when I was on holiday in Eritrea March 2007. Beautiful furniture and decoration. Friendly staff.
