I stayed at the Meridien for 5 days. The hotel is clean and relatively modern. The breakfast buffet copious and the outdoor terrace really nice for breakfast with a good breeze to chase the early morning heat - which is hot and gets hotter during the day! The dinner menu is also good withgut being extraordinary.

Meridien is a decent hotel for the business traveller to N'Djamena. This is obviously a very poor country and city so do not expect global Meridien standards and it is very expensive due to lack of similar competition in the area.

Very convenient. Excellent staff customer serivce. Excellent location at the egde of the river with fresh breeze. While having breakfast nice view looking at the locals with the canoes.. beautiful hotel.It will be good if the lift do work at all times. Found it a challenge going up the stairs.

I stayed at Le Meridien Chari for work - it was recommended by colleagues who reside in N'Djaména. The hotel was clean and the employees are very friendly and helpful.
My room was near the stairs and I found it to be loud as people would talk in the hall and the noise would echo. This wasn't a big deal...

This was a very pleasant hotel. Food was OK in the restaurant, service was polite and friendly. Room was clean and a/c worked fine, great as temperatures were well over 40c.. Pool was pleasant and looked clean. Would stay here again if I came to N'djamena again.
If you're going to visit N'Djamena then this hotel is probably the best of those available. The rooms were pretty good (much better than the Novotel) with a decent TV and quiet air-con. As noted below, the food is a little repetitive but this is Chad, a country with a lot of problems, so it pays to lower one's expectations...
