If you want to sleep well, have clean room with lots of hot water and english speaking staff in Ouaga, go to this hotel. Ouagadougou is not Las Vegas when it comes to hotel accomodation. “Not a great place”

We were there during a business trip for 3 days. Joly was a new facilities in the middle of nowhere. City center is quite far. The level of cleanliness is far below the international standard. But I guess that is one of the top in terms of local standard of Burkina Faso. The staff were courteous.

If money is not a concern for you and you want to stay in the new Ouaga 2000 section of Ouagadougou, stay at the Leico hotel which is the nicest hotel in the city. If you dont want to break the bank, the next best option is the Joly hotel. The Joly hotel is probably a 2 1/2 star hotel... More

This is by far the best hotel in the city of Ouagadougou. The only other 5 Star in town is Sofitel Ouaga 2000, whihc is over priced and has very small rooms.
