No other guests (that should have been a sign). Green pool. Noisy generators (not one but two). No game drive licence (it had 'expired'). No menus. No credit cards. Poor service. We were very excited to spend our Easter holiday in Khutse. Our stay started out bad as when we arrived at the lodge no one was there to greet us or direct us where to check in. After having heard about the bad sandy roads to Khutse Lodge, we were a bit apprehensive but in the end were pleasantly surprised. My wife and I travelled to Khutse not really having any great expectations, as we had been advised that the chances of seeing any wildlife were actually rather poor.
