Decided to check out of my pre-booked Hotel in Gaborone because of poor serv ice and took myself off to the President. It is situated in the City Centre; the rooms and facilities are clean and attractive. Definitely no noise at night which is a big plus for me! Dining is good, having a varied menu and presented in a stylish and hygienic manner. The Staff were great - friendly and obliging; giving me information and advice. There were few other europeans here but this made no difference. I felt welcomed and was able to enjoy a really good and interesting three-night experience in Gaborone. I sat on the balcony with my coffee - where "Mma Ramotswe" sat in "The No 1 Ladies' Detective Agtency. Went on a morning and afternoon trip with "Kaia Tours" to Gaborone Game Reserve and around the City Centre. The only niggle was that I found the price quoted a bit steep - but they agreed to a discount when I bargained. more
