The Kgale View Lodge obviously used to be a compound and they have somewhat awkwardly tried to turn the house and rooms into a lodge, very much in the middle of a residential neighborhood. I would not recommend this place, and mainly because of the extremely rude and inconsiderate staff. We had planned to stay at the Kgale Lodge for 2 weeks. However, upon arriving, we were told that they had booked our rooms to a large tour group for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th nights and we would have to find someplace else... More

We booked into the Kgale View Lodge to attend a conference nearby. Overall the outside of the Lodge is neat and well cared for. Our room was large with good decor. Check in was efficient even though it was a manual process. We were also told before arrival that we could only pay cash, and not use any credit cards... More
