Hotel was quite nice and bathrooms clean but the bedrooms were dusty and the bed linen had cigarette burns in it! The worst thing was being frogmatched by the concierge to a bank to withdraw money to pay the bill because the Hotel had a problem with its bank and it would not accept my card. I had cleared the... more

We ended up in this hotel after a taxi driver dropped us off there (instead of at the hotel we had booked at). The receptionist nodded enthusiastically when he heard our names, and pretended we had a reservation. We only found out when a colleague didn't show up for a meeting half an hour later. I have been in a... more

This hotel is terrible for those with young children. Reception staff very unhelpful and rude, but some staff members in the dining (breakfast) area were very nice. If you ask the reception staff for any help, they pretend to help by making a few false phone calls to god knows who and proceed by telling you they will help! We... more

Booked a three night stay based upon information that stated the hotel was "conveniently located" in the city center. The purpose of trip to Tunis was to visit the North Africa American Memorial and Cemetary. Yes, the hotel is centrally located....equidistant to anything that a tourist might wish to see. The hotel was a huge disappointment. The room was large,... more

The room was small, the bathroom smelly, towels were falling apart they were so old. The reception staff... more

we wanted a cheap hotel in the centre of Tunis for 6 nights. This hotel is 10 mins for the centre, not a nice area but close to supermarkets if needed. Reception staff were miserable and unhelpful so we didnt bother them further. The hotel was basic but very clean. The room was large and clean and bathroom clean. Cleaning... more

If you are interested in a value for money cheap and clean hotel in Tunis then Ibn Khaldoun is your hotel. Location: Not in the most attractive area of Tunis but this is not a hotel for relaxation. No garden - no pool. This is a good hotel for the traveller who wishes to stay in Tunis and do all... more
