Stayed for one night only. It's located in Berges Du Lac, which is Tunis' most modern area, where most businesses are located now. Obviously, as others said: if you have to be in the area with work for a few days, it's a no brainer. Otherwise, you're quite far from the city, so not a good idea if you intend... More

The interior looks as the best times were before. However, no major complaints. Good location, if you have businesses near Lac area. Close to the airport as well.

Hotel Acropole I would not recommend this hotel. I stayed there for two weeks. The hotel is aging badly. Here is a partial list of issues: I had to adjust the foot of the plug in the sink so it could drain. I had to tighten the showerhead so that it would not spray water on the floor. I had... More

It's the kind of hotel you go to only if other hotels are fully booked. will it deliver the basic requirements? yes! Will you have a memorable experience? No! The staff is friendly, hotel doesn't have an airport transport service, breakfast is very basic... Rooms are quite basic with old covers & just an acceptable level of hygiene. Location is... More

The hotel is OK and the neighborhood is safe, though boring. The hotel is definitely not a 4 star - maybe 2 stars would be enough. Rooms are ok - kind of old looking, old carpet, woollen blankets like hotels 25 years ago. The beds are uncomfortable. The internet does not work well - in fact it´s on and off... More

CHECKIN & CHECKOUT: ok, cannot fault this, although it seems a bit dodgy from the start. I don't feel reassured in this place - too many people working and no sign of any guests. Checkout was fast and they have no prob.s getting a taxi. ROOM: more like 2 star then 4. A bit basic and musty, has seen better... More

I stayed for 8 days in the Hotel Acropole in Tunis in early November 2011. First: the location. This was suggested by the company with which I had business meetings, which is located in the nearby Lac II development. The area is between downtown Tunis and the nearby towns of La Marsa, Gammarth, Carthage, and Sidi Bou Said to the... More

After staying at the Hotel Majestic in Centre-Ville for 12 days, I was seeking a better option. I booked this room for myself and a work colleague and am glad I paid a reduced price. While nice, the hotel is not worth the full price. The rooms are on the small side but nicely appointed. The TV offered BBC World... More

Hotel Acropole is one of those pleasant, clean but utterly forgettable hotels more often found in southern Europe than anywhere else. The staff are fine, the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast (especially the eggs) surprisingly good. Like every other hotel in Tunis, it seems, it is substantially overpriced. It is also in the terribly boring Lac district with a... More

Hotel clean and tidy staff keen and Attentive, Breakfast really good choice but menu in evening very limited. There is nothing to do here in general not just the Hotel, everywhere is empty so bring a good book. it looks like there are a few bars local (for men see other reviews) i have not ventured out as I am...
