Nicely situated away from the sterile mega hotels and within easy walking distance to town and oasis. Many nice inexpensive places to eat along the street. Staff was friendly, helpful, nice to be around. Room was clean, well-maintained with TV and air conditioner. Bathroom is very small but with shower and plenty of hot water.

A perfectly adequate hotel for the price. Nothing special but at 75% less cost than the hotels in the Zone Touristique it’s one of the best value hotels in town.

Had a very good experience at the Residence El Arich - clean rooms, hot showers, very quiet room overlooking the palmaerie. Only drawback was rock-hard pillows - bring your own!

The hotel is a good value--convenient location, clean rooms, friendly staff, situated right on the edge of the palmerie, a backyard, and the rooftop terrace is excellent. The PER ROOM price for the price period we stayed (Oct. 21) is 34DT, but with TV and air con surcharges it added up to 41DT/night.
