We stayed for 2 nights and got a room in the middle of a construction site: unbearable strong smell of solvents and the sound of circular saws (the 2 rooms next to our room were under construction) . Seronera Wildlife Lodge is a superb midrange lodge mosltly for its location in the middle of central Serengeti with its giant stones - including a swimming pool built around those stones. We turned up and they didn't have our booking and the hotel was full. Then they found us a room, but it turned out to be a single.
