Rooms are good, service too, food not so much, but nothing of that matters because you are there for the crossing of the river and that is truly an amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience. When we saw it, the crocodiles were a bit lazy and did not catch anything but the size of the migration is out of this world. You travel... More

What an amazing place in an amazing location... The camp is nestled in the among the rocky outcrops, your home is elevated tents, (if you can really call them that), they were spacious, richly furnished, and seamless with the surroundings. Sitting in rockers on the deck of our tent, with animals wandering right by, and at times right up to... More

A luxury tented lodge - definately glamping not camping! Surrounded by animals and out in the bush!. The service was excellent although the staff should have been briefed on the menu and drinks choice. The food needs to be more variable with a little more choice. Not the best experience at meal times we have had in Africa but maybe... More

On our last stop of our Tanzania Safari, we stayed at the Migration Camp. The setting at Grumeti River, with a breathtaking sunset atmosphere, is just wonderful and fulfils the image of a luxury lodge in Africa. The attentive and friendly staff is making the visitors fill very well. Amazing are the sounds in the evening and at night –... More

We spent 3 great nights there and it was just wonderful. The location was perfect from seeing Giraffes while having coffee in the morning on our porch and seeing a family of baboons sitting on our deck. Seeing the hippos down by the river and listening to them. The tents as they call them were amazing!!! Super showers and bath... More

We stayed for three days enjoying this gorgeous setting. Warthogs, monkeys, baboons and giraffe all wandered around our tent. We saw hippos walking down to the river from our room. Rooms were beautifully clean, spacious and very comfortable with lovely beds. The food was excellent. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Our teenage girls were made very welcome. Our... More

We spent the last 2 nights of our honeymoon safari here and to say it was an adventure is putting it mildly! The place itself is lovely; the main lodge where you can have drinks and meals is beautiful, the grounds very pretty and the big canvas tents you stay in are really brilliant; they don't feel as 'perfectly finished'... We were treated like Princesses! Our guide Alesha was fantastic, very professional and he shared a great wealth of knowledge of the northern Serengeti. We were very blessed to see a migration crossing in the Mara River, which is very rare experience. The Manager (a fellow Kiwi) looked after us very well after a long day on the safari. Absolutely... This was the last place we stayed while on safari in Tanzania. It was definitely our favorite. Beautiful, luxurious tents and stunning setting. The food was good and the wines included in the rate were surprisingly good. More

We stayed at Migration Camp for two nights during our Tanzanian safari. First, we would echo many of the other reviews, that this was the best lodging on our trip. Service was friendly, accommodations were luxury while keeping the sense of nature. Very comfortable bed. We loved watching the sunset over the Grumeti River while being serenaded by hippos. Food...
