An excellent choice, a stunning camp and location. Well managed with excellent staff – helpful and friendly. Approached over a substantial wooden walkway across a seasonal water course the main lodge was on three tiers down the hillside; administration at the top, followed by a lounge, curio shop and boma, leading on to wash rooms, a pool with sunbathing area... Elewana properties are amazing. Tented camps can sound scary. The first is true, the second is completely false. We arrived at Migration camp and were greeted by the manager who was phenomenal. We had the place essentially to ourselves, which was nice, but a bit lonely. The manager sat with us and had a couple glasses of wine and simply... More

We had an excellent stay for 2 nights in Migration Camp. Service is #1 here. Everything is almost perfect from breakfast, till dinner. Everything (incl drinks) is included here (of course the facility is not cheap.....). Recommendation is to at least stay 2 nights to appreciate it to the full extend. We had some very good game drives here, although... More

We arrived here at the end of a safari, just at the tale end of the migration. It had been a long and wonderful trip and our previous accommodation was a mobil tented camp. This place was beautiful. Each unit was entirely separate, half tent, half walls with luxurious rooms and beautiful bathrooms. A nice change from the bag showers... More

Set deep in the Serengeti National Park is this true gem, consisting of tented camps and main areas for eating and just gazing out at the incredible Serengeti. We arrived tired and hot and were instantly met with cold towels, followed closely by juice and then gin and tonics! Our tent was delightful. There was a large chesterfield, a huge... More

Rooms are good, service too, food not so much, but nothing of that matters because you are there for the crossing of the river and that is truly an amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience. When we saw it, the crocodiles were a bit lazy and did not catch anything but the size of the migration is out of this world. You travel... More

What an amazing place in an amazing location... The camp is nestled in the among the rocky outcrops, your home is elevated tents, (if you can really call them that), they were spacious, richly furnished, and seamless with the surroundings. Sitting in rockers on the deck of our tent, with animals wandering right by, and at times right up to... More

A luxury tented lodge - definately glamping not camping! Surrounded by animals and out in the bush!. The service was excellent although the staff should have been briefed on the menu and drinks choice. The food needs to be more variable with a little more choice. Not the best experience at meal times we have had in Africa but maybe... More

On our last stop of our Tanzania Safari, we stayed at the Migration Camp. The setting at Grumeti River, with a breathtaking sunset atmosphere, is just wonderful and fulfils the image of a luxury lodge in Africa. The attentive and friendly staff is making the visitors fill very well. Amazing are the sounds in the evening and at night –... More

We spent 3 great nights there and it was just wonderful. The location was perfect from seeing Giraffes while having coffee in the morning on our porch and seeing a family of baboons sitting on our deck. Seeing the hippos down by the river and listening to them. The tents as they call them were amazing!!! Super showers and bath... More
