I honestly don’t remember anything negative about our stay at the Sopa Serengeti Lodge. Upon arrival we were greeted immediately with a warm washcloth and a glass of watermelon juice. Looks a bit used, but the rooms are OK and the location unbeatable. Very friendly staff - good service. Evening entertainment a bit too much ( for my taste ). More

Grand foyer with lots of seating areas, however outside is quite dated pink walls. Large room with very well decorated bathroom and shower area. Very nice indian buffet meal for xmas (roast meat was also available) and also christmas crackers and presents etc. Good selection of breakfast cereal, fruits and hot food. Who wouldn't love watching monkeys playing on your balcony! The view of the Serengeti was unequaled. The grazing animals were so close you could hear them munching.
