Small adequate, mid-range/budget, hotel in Dar. Rooms basic but functional with aircon. The aircon worked but there was little correlation between shown temperature and actual room temperature. I stayed at this hotel in Dar for four nights as part of a conference in June 2006. The hotel is run and managed by a Scottish family and has been totally renovated in the past couple of years. I really enjoyed my stay in the Palm Beach. The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were impeccable.... more
