The hotel premises are very nice: gardens and swimming pool with sea view but unfortunately you cannot swim at the nearby sea. The hotel has a gym, a casino and a hair dressers. I have stayed in other hotels in Dar and found this one extremely clean and all employees, willing to assist. The rooms are spacious, with all the... More

I travel quite a lot in Africa, and this is definitely the best hotel I have stayed in so far. It has a really nice ambiance about it, fantastic facilities and is wonderfully located right on the ocean. Overall impression was very good - excellent food at the restaurant (especially for Africa!) and such a lovely outlook when you're having... More

It was my third visit to Dar, and third hotel I tried. Next visit I will definitely stay at the Sea Cliff. The hotel is very comfortable, and by the sea (no beach) so the heat is a bit more bearable than in the city centre. I liked the decoration of the rooms and the standard rooms are of a... More

We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us over the festive season! I'll be sure to pass on your comments to the Karambezi Cafe team (for breakfasts) and The Alcove team(Indian/Chinese restaurant) - a lovely way to start the New Year. I will also look into why your packed breakfast didn't arrive and would like to apologise for this... More

Hotel Sea Cliff is such a beautiful and relaxing place to be that I forgot I was there for work. The setting is amazing- on a sea cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there is yummy Indian food on site. What more could you ask for? Just be sure to request a sea view... More

Have stayed at the Sea Cliff many times for work. The first time I stayed there, my room was so damp and musty, I ended up getting pneumonia a couple days later as they would not move me to another room until after 3 days of complaining. They couldn't seem to understand my problem with the room. Every time I... More

This was my first stay at the Sea Cliff. When I checked in, I thought the lobby area looked a bit dated and in need of refurbishment. The room however, was excellent (although my TV didnt work despite complaining). The room was spacious, well appointed and a good bathroom and shower. The food was good. More

My wife and I stayed ovenight at the Hotel Sea Cliff after a week on Zanzibar. The room was clean, well appointed, and very large, with comfotable twin beds. The location of the hotel is remote from the noise and bustle of Dar es Salaam, and there are several unexciting shops in the immediate area. The personnel at check-in were... More

The manager was very helpful irganising this room for my hist company. The rooms were clean but the rain shower did not have hit water connection (thankfully an alternative shower head existed!). Thank you for the constructive feedback given. I’m glad you enjoyed the location and found the service to be very friendly. The hot water supply was an unavoidable technical issue with your room and we apologise for the inconvenience caused. Ironing boards are not given as standard in guest rooms but are freely available from housekeeping. We have passed your... More
