I enjoyed the staff service. They considered and helpful. I love the hotel's breakfast, its really fresh. My room was clean, but I had some internet connectivity with my ipad. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. More

I've stayed here several times and it is clean and comfortable. The wifi works well in the rooms and the restaurant has a nice seating area around the perimeter where you can bring your laptop, order a cool beverage and sit for hours working and people-watching. The restaurant also has patio seating that is very comfortable with a nice view... More

Hi AndersE2, Thanks for your post on Trip Advisor and of course for your candid comments. I have replied to another post of yours elsewhere, so forgive me for the repetition! But for the public record: We did have an awful technical problem last week with the WiFi, to be honest I have no idea what the cause was or... More

Well kept hotel. Good security, well located (in a slightly odd way). It's convenient for both the Peninsula Area, where a lot of the better restaurants and bars are (US$13/15-20 minute cab ride) and downtown/Business District, without being located in either. Pool area, terrace and gardens are super. Good spot of tranquility in middle of Dar - even if tranquility... More

This hotel is very well kept with great staff and restaurant. The crowd here is definitely a business crowd with a few tourists mixed into the group (usually in transit). It is located centrally in Dar es Salaam but not close to the airport. The room was a standard business room that would be found anywhere. It was clean and... More

I stayed in Southern Sun Hotel in Dar es Salaam as a stop-over on the way to and back from Zanzibar. It’s a good city hotel but without too much of a corporate feel, it’s very centrally located which is convenient for most things. The rooms are quite spacious and the food in the restaurants and at breakfast is surprisingly... More

I and my husband stayed here for the third time. It is fantastic. The staff make you feel like it is your home. The rooms are small, but comfy. The restaurant - particularly the breakfast - is great. They give you a little portable jogging map in the room - my husband loved it to help find his way back... More

We stayed for one night before starting our safari. The reception staff are very friendly but when we checked in at 7:00 at night they did not have a room ready for us. Since our room was not ready they did give us complimentary drink coupons for the bar while we waited for our room. After our drinks we still... More

Dear Blaxton, Thanks for your reveiw, I appreciate your comments, though of course I am sad that you did not have a great nights sleep! Whilst we were extremely busy in November there is no excuse for not giving you the accomodation of your choice, or for not having your room ready on arrival. I am sorry about that, and... More

I have stayed here two times for a week and it has been a very good stay. The breakfast is overwhelming and lacks nothing at all. Hi Olifo, I really appreicate the fact that you took time to post such great comments on our hotel. I think you summed up our proposition very well!
