Andrew and Janet of Dar Jand were the most hospitipal people. They met us at our taxi, showed us around the neighborhood and cooked a delicious breakfast. The terrace has a fantastic view across the ocean/sea to Spain! Highly recommended

I loved Dar Jand!--a sweet little place tucked into the heart of the winding streets of Tanger with a beautiful interior and fantastic rooms. Janet and Andrew are awesome: having them show us around the maze of a neighborhood was an adventure and a huge help, don't know what I would have done without it...their terrace is hands down the... Staying at Dar Jand was truly great. Starting the day sitting on the wonderful roof terrace overlooking the medina on one side and the sea and Spain on one side was more than I could ask for. The genius guiding by Andrew to remember to navigate through the, rather small, but labyrinth-ish medina made me feel like I was a... More

I was in Dar Jand two nights with some friends and my girlfriend, and it was one of the best experiences in Tanger. Janet & Andrew are amazing, they were like as our parents. Thank to them we could know the Medina and some places so good to eat. If do you go to Dar Jand, you will feel like... More

Once upon a time... We got married in December 2011. Terribly exciting. After spending the first days of our honeymoon recouperating in Portugal we travelled through Spain in order to start the Morroccan leg of our holiday. Unfortunately we missed the boat. Quite literally. This meant we had to cancel our stay in Dar Jand and stay in earth's most... More

Had a wonderful time at Dar Jand B&B. Located in the ancient Medina, it was wonderful to be in the midst of this intriguing city and to explore the narrow, twisted, cobblestone streets. The B&B has a number of guest rooms, each with its own motif, color scheme, and bathroom. The rooftop patio has an incredible view of the city... More

Right i don't like staying in hotels, i do a lot of this as part of my job, working in the international hospitality industry. I associate them with missing home, lonely, joyless places. My wife recently invited me to Tangier to stay with her for the weekend. She was accommodated in a '5 star hotel' whilst she completed a work... More

Had the pleasure of staying at the Dar JAND for our first trip to Tangier. The Dar (Moroccan house) has been lovingly renovated into a Guest house by Janet and Andrew who fell in love with life in Tangier and the colourful cosmopolitan lifestyle that attracted renowned beat authors and musicians to Tangier. A short stroll down from the Kasbah,... More

Dar Jand is a fantastic B&B with amazing hosts. I am writing on behalf of me and my grandmother. We were supposed to take a trip together to Tangier. Unfortunately I had my old passport with me and I couldn't get on the plane. My grandmother went anyway. I immediately contacted Janet and Andrew and asked them to meet my... More
