This riad was clean, the room totally adequate and bathroom amenities excellent. The staff will bend overbackward to help, they are that kind. They will arrange for taxismto pick you up from the train station if you ask them. They will also arrange for tour guides, etc. It is a riad all in steps and levels, however, not made for... More

Based on the recommendations from other travelers and on this site we decided to stay in this riad. After all we were a bit disappointed. First, the good news: The room was clean, the staff helpful, and the rooftop terrace is nice. The bad news however is the riad has recently expanded and the new part, like the breakfast area... More

Travelling from Rabat to Meknes on the Motorway was quick and easy but after arrival on the outskirts of the Medina, we wasted over two hours trying to find Riad D'or. We had to park our hired car quite far from the Medina and walk. We now wish we had been absolutely clear in advance on how we would be... More

The stay at Riad D'or was very pleasant, all the stuff very friendly and helpful. Would recommend for friends for sure. The location is perfect (though it's a bit tricky for taxi to find, so have the main street address to wen going). Would be even more better if the internet was available in rooms too.

Rooms and bathrooms are big and charming, you really feel like a sultan here! Breakfast is generous.. We stayed in February and this was the only place where common rooms where heated as well, definitely a plus!! Staff is helpful although I must say a bit unorganized. The owner of the Riad where we were staying in Fes had called... More

This is an architecturally outstanding riad, nestled in a quiet but very central location in the medina. The staff is warm and friendly, making an effort to make you feel at home. Beppe, one of the owners, was especially charming. We were here in January, and although the temperature outdoors at night was quite chilly, the room was comfortably heated.... More

When we arrived it seemed like the gentleman was very busy. He was polite but just sat us down then left we had to find a staff to show us to our room. We thought maybe he was busy getting ready for more guests but as it turned out we were the only ones there. The Riad was very clean... More

This riad is beautiful, with many public spaces and beautiful, traditional architecture. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our suite was smartly appointed and we felt truly immersed in the culture and the ambiance. The location is great - with easy access outside the medina, without great difficulty in finding her way to/from the riad. We did, however, make... More

My fiancé and I stayed here for two nights and it was our favorite of our week long visit to Morocco (Fez and Rabat). The staff was incredibly cordial and helpful - guiding us not only on what to see and do in and around Meknes but also making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The rooms are... More

My wife and I recently spent 3 days in this riad and we've stayed in a lot of grotty riads in Morocco with indifferent staff and dark, damp rooms, but this place is in a totally different class. We arrived late, yet had a great welcome with tea, biscuits and our bags discreetly whisked away to our room. The rooms... More
