The Hotel Majestic is only about 2 blocks from the train station in the Ville Nouvelle which makes it convenient after a long train ride. Spent a very pleasant 2 nights here in October 2008. Friendly and clean and very good value. Only criticism would be that the towels were quite old and very small but everything else fine. Good location, easy for parking. more

If you're travelling in winter be aware that the radiators in the rooms don't actually work and it's freezing at night. The words "faded grandeur" were never more appropriate. Cheap as chips - 285Dh double ensuite including breakfast - and right next to El Amir railway station. Only a 10Dh taxi ride from the old city. Stay here, have a perfectly comfy stay and you'll save enough for a posh riad in Fes. more

This hotel had lots of charm with dark wood interior and tiled floor. The rooms themselves opened up onto a nice courtyard--though the appointed chairs were plastic : ( No elevator so be forewarned should you have mobility issues.
