Difficult to find, overpriced food. One night we ordered dinner for 3 and then told Aziz we were expecting friends to visit and asked for another 2 meals to be added, what we got was our initial order for 3 in the price of 5 with some extra starters. Furthermore Aziz didn't hesitate to ask me for cigarettes whenever he... More

A beautiful oasis in the madness of Marrakech, Aziz and Samira, could not have been more charming, helpful, informative, friendly and genuinely concerned to make our stay comfortable. He deserves all praise. All the staff were discreet but pleasant. A small riad, maybe 5 or 6 rooms, beautifully decorated, calm and pristine. Good price for the value! Excellent indoor and very... More

The place is impossible to find. You are forced to negiotiate with taxi drivers constantly or pay locals to give you wrong directions. The food and drink is well overpriced for the area. Although it is nice enough inside, it is NOT worth the hassle of getting to. Stay somewhere much closer to the souks or even in the new... More

We were greeted very warmly on arrival with mint tea and shown to our room, all the staff were very heplful and accomodating. The breakfast was typically moroccean and set up up nicely for our sightseeing. The Riad is a little out of the way and we constantly got lost as all streets look the same so it always took... More

I must first start off by saying that I have never written a review for anything before, but felt compelled to let people know how fantastic this Riad is after a wonderful 7 nights stay there. We arrived much later than planned, and were warmly greeted by Aziz (who is a true asset to the Riad) and we were given... More

After reading other reviews I expected more really. On the bright side, the riad is indeed an oasis of peace and the people who works there are very nice. The cons are that nobody speaks english (which is fine for the basics but does not make things easy) and that even though the riad is about 20 mins walking from... More

We stayed in two Riads in Marrakech (3 nights each). Both were great, although this Riad (El Faris) had better rooms, and the decor was superb. There is a lovely roof terrace to enjoy the evenings before heading out to town. The breakfasts were tasty and we enjoyed the evening meal which we had on our first evening. One tip... More

The Riad El Faris is a clean, friendly and beautiful Riad in the North of the Medina. It offers individual, well decorated and traditional bedrooms. We stayed on two occasions over the fortnight of our holiday to Morocco and had the opportunity to stay in the Chambre Vanille and Cumin, which were both great. Aziz made our stay very welcoming... Firstly, the riad looks exactly like the photographs! We were collected from the airport and given a warm welcome by Aziz who arranged a taxi into the square for us on our first night. He walked us into the square the following day and gave us a tour which was really helpful. The riad is not in the centre but... More
