This riad was recommended to us by Charlie of Epic Morocco who organised our trip to Marrakesh and to the mountains. The riad is tastefully decorated and is immaculately clean with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. We were lucky enough to have room 5 which is a large room on the roof terrace which was very quiet. The staff are... More

I chose this hotel based on the reviews in Tripadvisor and I was not disappointed. There are only five rooms in each Dar (Baraka and Karam). It is cosy and has a homely feeling. The management was so willing to please, always accommodating our every need. We had breakfast late and they served it outside our room and on the... More

My friend and I (both ladies in our early thirties) had a lovely stay at this riad. It was tricky finding it on the first day as it's off the main road and down a couple of winding alleys. And there are no road names! However, when you open the door it is a delight of traditional decor with modern... More

Having spent hours trawling through reviews and lists of Riads in Marrakech trying to find ones that were comfortable and reasonably priced, I was lucky enough to come across Dar Baraka. Upon booking a room at the Riad I had some trouble paying via the website, but both by telephone and email I was given help by one of the... More

I´ve been several times in Marrakesh and always I lived in the houses of Mr. Abdelatif. This year I enjoyed the first time Dar Baraka. It´s perfect for a group. The rooms are well dosed decorated in marocain style. The breakfast and dinner was really tasty and prepared so kindful with roses and candles. We have had a lot of luck... More

We only paid about £25 a night to stay here and it was value for money. The Riad was clean and the staff were very polite and welcoming. Breakfast was simple but adequate - lovely fresh OJ! A few issues - we went in December and the riad was freezing. One night we slept in a fleece and pjs! The... More

Stylish, comfortable and clean rooms which are not over decorated. They have just the right level of Moroccan touches in the rooms in the form of lamps, door frames, bed covers, etc which were all tastefully selected. The attractive building is perfectly complemented with a warm, ever smiling & friendly team of employees including Ahmed and Ibrahim who made me... More

Stayed in November as part of a lastminute.com package. The price was very reasonable, the location great for exploring the medina, and the staff so helpful (thank you Ahmed and colleagues!). This riad is very tastefully decorated in plain colours and not over-decorated. There is no pool, so it does not attract families with children (good or bad, depending on... More

This riad is great value and is decorated in a simple but beautiful style, without the intricate decorations of other riads but with lots of good taste. The rooftop terrace is amazing, and I'm still dreaming about the breakfasts they serve. Our room was very nice and perfectly clean, the only issue we had was noise from the inner courtyard... More

If you want to stay somewhere with rustic charm and with typically moroccan decor this will be for you. Excellent location but be prepared to get lost finding your way home through the souks very close by. The best points about this accommodation are the wonderful helpful staff and superb breakfasts. On the negative side - due to the style... More
