Room was lovely, food (breakfast and dinner) very good, staff/owners very pleasant and helpful. Location was good and once you get used to the alleys in most Moroccan medinas then feels perfectly safe getting there. More

This Riad is spacious and comfortable with a nice roof terrace. Free Wi-fi on all floors that works best at ground level. Lovely owners and gracious staff. Meals here are a bit pricey for what they are, but a lovely convenience if you know you will be out for a long day trip or simply don't want to go out.... More

The riad is perfectly located in the medina - just a few minutes walk to all attractions. The riad itself is tranquil and beautiful - a perfect respite from the chaos of the medina and souk. Michael, Michele, and David were the perfect hosts and all of their recommendations were spot on. Will definitely visit again. More

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a 3 week road trip in Morocco. Considering we had stayed in many places along the way this riad still managed to blow us away with its style, warmth and the hospitality of its owners Michael and Michel. I can not recommend this place highly enough, from the location (easy... More

To stay at Riad Al Massarah was the best choice we made when planning our trip to Morocco. From the earliest booking emails to the final drop-off at the airport, we had all our needs met, all the information we could ask for + even more and the feeling as if we were visiting our dear old friends. The staff... More

What can I say? A home away from home. Friendly, efficient, superbly located between the Djemaa el Fna and the new town, in a less touristed part of the Medina, beautifully designed and furnished, unpretentious yet hugely stylish, lovely breakfasts, lovely staff, lovely rooms and bathrooms, it goes on... No they didn't pay me. This is accommodation of the highest... More

Having had such a fantastic time as a large group of adults 3 years ago we wanted to visit again with our family. Our group comprised 4 adults plus our two daughters aged 20 & 18 and our 15 year old son. Everything as before was perfect and much of it pre-arranged by e-mail. The airport meet works exceptionally well... More

The owner Michael is very lovely, meets your needs and makes you feel as you were at home in a comfortable place located in the centre of ancient medina. The Riad is very clean, studied in details, fine linens, well equipped batrooms (provided with high quality soap, shampoo and even kajal for make-up). Entering this Riad is like an escape... More

Our first visit to Morocco, however staying at Al Massarah was like coming home. Beautiful environment, great home cooked food (kefta tajine!), lovely staff and a warm company of Michael and Michel. Everything was just perfect and beyond...We would love to have another cup of mint tea in that little paradise. A very special place! More
