Our experience with recently established Riad Layla Rouge is fantastic. Friendly, almost family atmosphere, lovely, kind and very helpful owners. Great location - riad is located only 3 minutes walk from the D'Jeema el Fna. Very well equipped rooms, including sofa, very comfy double bed, air condition, towels, shower gel, colourful and best to hide in when temperature reaches 50... More

Excellent service. 1 min on foot to Jamma el Fna square. Very clean. Free tea whenever you want. Incredible free breakfast. 15 euros per night and person in private room. Small swimming pool. Very good atmosphere. You can book an excursion there. I was really fascinating for this riad. Totally recommended. I would choose the same riad if I travel... More

I wasn't entirely convinced by the reviews about Layla Rouge before I arrived. How could a Riad only charging 150 dirhams a night be so popular? I needn't have worried I more than lived up to expectations. There may be bigger establishments and there are certainly more expensive ones too, but are they any better? That would be hard to... My partner and I booked the Layla Rouge on a recommendation from my son who had hitched to Marrakech last year .. He told us that it was madly colourful and the people were so friendly, helpful and welcoming so he had felt very at home and the location was great and easy to get around... Even though my son... This is a great little riad just minutes from the main square and the souqs. We stayed in the double room on the top floor. If you are going for a double room then this one is highly recommended as it opens out onto the roof terrace where you can have your breakfast served whilst you sit in the wonderful... More

This riad was a terrible experience. I booked 8 nights initially. Upon arrival the owner met me, I told her I intended to stay 5 nights and then travel to Fes. She said that was not a problem and I could easily change my reservation. So I paid for all 5 nights in full amount, cash, on the first day... More

Dear Madam (we will not use your name in order to grant you the courtesy of anonymity) This review was inevitable, and we are grateful that Trip Advisor gives us the right to respond to it. We stayed here two nights and had a great time. This place is so warm, welcoming, laid back, spotlessly clean, funky, and beautiful. The hosts are gentle and sweet, and also the location is perfect, two minutes from Jemah el Fnaa, the main square. I can not recommend this lovely Riad highly enough.

This place was not only clean, warm and welcoming but it was probably the easiest location to find in the labyrinth that is the medina. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfy with Hot Showers! I stayed 3 non-consecutive nights and would gladly stay again if I come back to Marrakech. Show up have some mint tea... More

This is an absolutely beautiful riad! The rooms are all lovely and the common areas too! The terrace is just a beautiful place to hang out and socialise with other guests! The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the souks and 2 mins from the big square! A beautiful place... More

I came to Layla Rouge following a recommendation from a friend who had stayed here a couple of months ago and I am so pleased they told me about this place. It is a small house - i think 5 rooms, and is decorated like a palace! The colours, ornaments and design are incredible. I was welcomed warmly by the... More
