This hotel was disgraceful. The staff were not at all helpful - in fact they were plain rude. They tutted at us when we asked they call a local number to confirm a tour we had booked and declined to call a mobile (on a different day) stating they could not get an outside line. It is reported to be... More

The hotel offers apartment accommodation and this was ideal. Bed was comfortable, clean sheets, pillows and towels provided daily by an excellent housekeeping service. Staff were always friendly and willing to help at the desk with any problems. Popular hotel excellent location! Cutlery and kitchen items avaliable in the cupboards for the kitchen salon that comes with the room! Very... More

Stayed at this Aparthotel for the New Year 2012. Though described as a 4*, it is actually only 2*. Basic room with adjacent sitting room with a kitchenette with few utensils only. You get woken up at 6 am by call from nearby mosque but this lasts only 1 minute and is a problem with most hotels as there are... More

We had a terrific stay in Assounfou altogether. It is true the neighbourhood is a bit rough, but perfectly safe. We enjoyed watching the busy street during the day from our balcony on the uppermost floor. The room (504) was warm enough because of the sunshine, and very spacious, we could crash in the sofa's with 6 people. Kitchenette was... More

We stayed at Assounfou twice during our Marrakech trip. We had a side trip to the Sahara in between. The hotel stored our baggage during our side trip with no probs. The hotel was very easy to find after a 15-20 minute walk from the station and is located behind a new section of 'ville nouvelle'. There are many cafe's/restaurants... More

I usually don't do reviews, but I willing to make an exception. I just got home from a trip to Morocco. I stayed at this hotel my first night there and then 4 days later I returned and stayed for 2 nights. If it wasn't because My trip & hotel was payed in advance I would've found another hotel... here's... More

Spacious rooms, good facilities - kitchenette with fridge - really handy!! Air conditioned though timed by reception. Location fine for Gueliz and a 15 minute walk to the Medina. Comfortable longe area with TV. Beware noise if you get a room at the front with a balcony as the windows are not high quality double glazed and do NOT keep... More

Stayed there for 2 seperate nights, only for a place to stay before and after our trip to Agadir. Location was so-so.. we chose it for its "proximity" to the train and bus station. But before it is still a good 15-20 minute walk to theses stations. On our first night we got a room with no hot water what... More

The hotel is located in the middle of Marrakesh new town, with lots of great restaurants and shops near by just remember to bring your earplugs as the near by mosque sends out a call for prayer every morning at 5...
