We have just returned from a wonderful trip to Morocco. Our stay in the Riad Safran, and the people we met through it, contributed significantly to our fantastic time. The Riad Safran is one of the warmest and happiest places I have stayed. The people who make up The Safran are central to this welcoming atmosphere. Shona, the owner, provided... More

This being our fourth stay at Riad Safran we have finally met up with Shona the owner who happened to be there at the same time sorting out the change of Manager. Adil has now left and Youssef was appointed as Manager from 1 November and with Fatima continuing in her post the new team seem to be even better.... More

We were picked up right on time at the airport by a taxi and taken to a drop off near the Riad (had a 2 minute walk thru the narrow alley to the Riad). We were met by a young woman who was covering for Adil who was busy elsewhere. She was wonderful.....showing us the hi-lights, what to do, what... More

In response to the comments about Adil, he now no longer works at Riad Safran, and was in fact working out his notice during this time. Riad Safran is now managed by Youssef, still assisted by Fatima, and we look forward to continued positive reviews in the future. Owner, Riad Safran More

We stayed at the Riad Safron for 4 nights. It was a great vacation, made even better with Adil's local knowledge and Fatima's cooking. Totally recommend!

Riad Safran was our first stay in Moroccan Riad (as opposed to a Dar) and it matched and even exceeded all our expectations. The room was just super with everything in the traditional style. The terrace on the top was also a great place for us to have a rest mid afternoon. Everything was very clean. Fatima ensured that we... More

Just returned from Marrakech, having had a smashing time on our first visit to the city. This riad is very good value for money and the owners and manager cannot do enough for you. We had the best food of the holiday (2 evenings) at the riad cooked by Fatima, who makes amazing tagines, ask for fish - it was... More

Had a wonderful stay here with our 3 children. Shona the owner was extremely helpful answering all our questions before we came and assured us that the children would be welcome here, which they were. On our arrival we were met by the riad manager and led through enchanting alleys to our beautiful riad. The location is superb and no... More

We have just returned from an amazing trip to Marrakech made so special by staying in Raid Safran. Adil the riad manager greeted us at the taxi and then led us down winding alleyways to the riad, we did wonder where we were going but then we got to the riad and it was like stepping into another world. Riad Safran was a great little find and did not dissappoint at all. The rooms are very quant but adequately equipped in traditional Moroccan style. It did get very chilly at night in February but plenty of blankets in wardbrobe which was great. The 3 other rooms were booked during our stay with other British guests & it was lovely... More

Riads aren't usually recommended for people travelling with children and babies, because of the likelihood of disturbing other guests but we were lucky enough to have Riad Safran all to ourselves. From the moment we arrived we were given a really warm welcome by Adil, who our toddler adored. The riad is lovely and tranquil, despite being located just minutes... More
