Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our trip, one of the best riad locations we've stayed at, very easy to find your way around, yet still down a traditional little alley so feels like you're in the heart of the city. Yassine was extremely helpful and attentive, with lots of suggestions and a map that came in... More

Riad Papillon was our basecamp for a 8night stay in Marrakech. What a treat! Not only does it represent excellent value, but the team there led by Yassine were always more than happy to help with whatever we needed. Giving us a local mobile phone just in case we got lost was a really nice touch, and certainly made us... More

My sister, 12 year old son and I stayed at Riad Papillon over the Easter holiday and would return to Marrakech and Riad Papillon at a drop of a hat! From the minute we were met at the airport the Moroccan hospitality was amazing. Our driver was chatty and informative, he was happy to answer all of our questions. On arrival... More

My son and I stayed here for 4 days and felt right at home. From the moment we got here it was like being a guest at a friends house. We had nice food, help with our map, advice on where was good to go and not so good. We had to go out at 5.30am to catch a lift... More

We decided to do a Riad instead of plush hotel - immerse ourselves more into the Moroccan culture (and save a few quid!). So pleased we did! Everything from initial online booking in the UK to the return taxi to the airport, all were planned perfectly by a lovely bunch of people. Our first time in Morocco was made totally... More

We have just returned from spending New Year at Riad Papillon and thoroughly enjoyed it. There were nine of us in total - family celebrating my 40th birthday - so we had the whole Riad to ourselves. We came to the conclusion that we were glad we had the place to ourselves as it is quite 'cosy' living in a... More

This riad was incredible, so spacious and even more luxurious than I imagined from the pictures on the website. The staff (Yassin and the chefs) were also amazing - so helpful and made our stay completely effortless; Yassin was particularly good, offering us tips and advice for things to do in Marrakech, organising taxis to take us out and even... This small Riad was excellent. The staff spoke excellent English and could not have been more helpful. They gave us the house phone so that we could contact them and promised that they would find us if we got lost. The rooms were small but nicely decorated with nice bathrooms, and good value for money. The Riad was very quiet... More

i recently stayed here with my partner for 5 nights, it was lovely. The room was beautiful, the riad was immaculate and the staff were attentive yet not intrusive. I would recommend staying here any day! All the rooms are lovely and the riad itself is wonderfully furnished and comfortable, the terrace dining was romantic and the food excellent and... More

This riad is perfect if you are looking for a mix of traditional and contemporary style blended together with excellent taste. It is an oasis of calm away from the bustling souks and alley ways. The food was fantastic and I shall never forget the gentle aroma of Jasmin, wafting through the courtyard, rooms and terrace. The boys were great... More
