Initially I was put off this place by the distance from the Medina (not really walkable in the heat to the Souks). However on arrival I was pleasantly suprised. Lovely, spacious, cool rooms. I sizeable pool, roof terrace and wonderfully furnished. Service is also excellent, as is breakfast. For the money you can't really go wrong.

We spent 3 nights here and enjoyed excellent service and home cooked food as well as a comfortable bed and and a genuine Moroccan experience. It felt like we were guests in some-one's private Villa and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. they were brilliant! On the downside....the acoustics of the Villa means that every little sound travels... More

An excellent and spacious Riad only minutes away from the heart of Marrakesh but far enough away for the frenzy of the medina. Excellent staff and owner who are available whenever you need them (nigh or day) and made the stay memorable and laid-back – a special thanks to Hassani who made the stay extra special. The breakfast is just... More

Stayed for romantic anniversary break - really glad we chose to stay far from the madding crowd... Ring the bell by the unasuming outer door and then enter into the beautiful oasis beyond. Greeted with refreshing mint tea in the stunning lounge (think we spent hours staring at the wooded fretwork ceiling and mosaic walls going 'Wow'!) Then shown to... More

I went to stay at the Riaad for 5 days early February. The house: lovely, cosy and beautifully presented this Riaad is like a home away from home. Very quiet location, only a 2 Eur taxi ride away from the main square and 20mins walk to Jardin Majorelle. I stayed in the Zagora room which looks into the courtyard with... More

I only found this Riad halfway through my holiday....what a fantastic surprise it was on arrival, its like stepping into a stunning princess palace, Paula and her parents were absolutely wonderful hosts, nothing is too much trouble, very tranquil, relaxed and absolutely stunning riad. My Volubilis double room was beautiful, lovely terrace overlooking the pool and courtyard. It was a... More

Me and my partner found the Villa Amira and spa after searching for days on the internet. Located a 10min drive from the Medina (you can walk in approx 45mins but don't try it in the midday heat!!), Hidden behind a black door is a stunning riad. Greeted with mint tea on arrival, shown around the riad and then into... More

We had a great time staying at Villa Amira. Mainly because of the great service, delivered by the staff. The ladies were extremely helpful and kind. We will definitely return. The rooms are very nicely decorated in Maroccan style. The swimming-pool is nice. From the outside the hotel doesn't look great, but once you are inside, you will be amazed.

I stayed here with my girlfriend, my brother and his girlfriend during Ramadan in August for 7 days. This riad is a really nice place to stay. It is beautifully decorated, clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There a few little items that could do with touching up such as some of tiles around the pool but... More
