If you're looking for quietness and calm, this is the right place. The rooms are beautiful, evocative, the furniture, antique, recreate the real morocco style. The price is worthy (we paid 77 per nite, shared by two, good breakfast included). The pool, which is not very big, is a real plus. The staff is very professional, discrete, and they really... More

My family and I stayed for 5 nights in this Riad. Whilst it might need a little TLC it also added to the charm and beauty of the place. It was a bit tricky to find our way back to but soon got the hang of finding it. The Medina is a very busy environment and returnin to Riad Dar... More

This riad is a real gem, I am an avid traveller and have stayed in a lot of places. Dar Abiad reminds of the palaces of Rajastan in India. The staff were extremely attentive, friendly and generous throughout the three days I stayed there. Karim organised my taxi every night and provided useful information, Jamal made sure I was safe... This riad is full of character, with beautiful ornaments and furniture throughout. We stayed in the chocolate suite and the huge rooms were charming and luxurious. There was a gorgeous balcony off the living room space, and a huge bath/shower in the bathroom with rose petals to throw inside. The staff were wonderful, always ready to help us, -or walk... More

Let me begin by emphasising how much in agreement I am with the previous glowing reviews. This excellent Riad is the Real Deal and will not fail to impress in every respect. Firstly the staff are extremely helpful and generous with their time and care. Despite arriving at an absurdly late hour owing to a delayed flight, our pre-arranged driver... More

We were a party of ten people who booked the whole of Dar Abiad for 10 days at the beginning of July 2009. It didn't disappoint. The riad itself is beautifully furnished throughout in typically Morocan style and has lots of greenery in the courtyard - very welcome in heat of July, as was the good sized pool. So If... More

Absolutely recommended especially for people who are not driving to Marrakesh. The downside is the location. Like many other Riads in Marrakesh's Medina, it has a very low profile door on a little alley. Even some taxi drivers may not know it. BUT once you get there, it is hard not to fall in love with this place. Took us... More
