You know when a place far exceeds your expectations. I've travelled extensively and this is by far the best hotel I've stayed at. We stayed in a suite called Aziza and awoke to hear birds chirping and the sound of rain hit the top canopy (they cover the top of courtyard with a large sheet. It sounded like we were... More

Excellent place to stay, highly recommended. This is my fifth time staying in Marrakech and best experience so far. Well located in the Medina with a gorgeous rooftop where breakfast is served. The Riad (B&B) is beautiful, moroccan style and well maintained. The rooms spacious, clean and resting. Service is what certainly differentiates this Riad from others. The staff is... More

We have just returned form Marrakesh and can say that the Dar Alhambra is a excellent place to stay. The rooms are clean and spacious the staff are all very kind. We booked a suite and had a lovely seating area. The riad is in the middle of one of the souks so like others I would recommend that you... More

Starting from when we were met from our taxi to when we left we were made to feel welcome. We were blown away by the quality of the decorations and design in the hotel, totally traditional moroccan. We had breakfast on the rooftop terrace everyday which they were happy to cook for us whenever we got up. Our room was... More

5 stars but not still enough. Imagine, you are in Marrakech amid the Medina with all the people, odors, noise, busy streets and action. Would you believe there can exsist a place full of silence, quitness and peace; where you can close the door behind you and with one foodstep your are in a completely different world? It is possible,... More

What do you want from a holiday hotel? If you want one in a big chain with rooms all identical, false smiles pasted on the receptionists as they record your credit card on arrival to ensure they can make as many additions to your bill as possible. Where the food is mid-atlantic blandness, butters and jams are wrapped in plastic... More

Behind an impressive wooden door leading from a narrow dusty street in the medina lies a little piece of paradise. From the moment we entered we were totally captivated. The maid, who spoke only French and Arabic, was charming and made us feel very welcome, bringing us mint tea and small delicious homemade almond cakes. We enjoyed lounging in the... More

We were a family of 2 "old" parents, 4 children age 20-32, a son inlaw and a 2½ year old grandchild. We had rented the whole place 6 rooms. One room we didn't even use. We had 2 weeks which was just perfect to become familiar with the area. Located inside the Medina very close to the Souks and the... More

It's a beautifull traditional riad in the heart of the medina. The accomodations are of very good quality (bed, shower/bath, decoration). You have WIFI connection. All the rooms have their own chimney, which isvery appreciable in the winter. Futhermore they have a very good cook, for me the couscous and the "tajine du roi" were the best marocan dishies i... I booked this holiday as a treat to the missus after a hard year at work. I did a lot of research looking for 'the one'. I had wanted to visit the wondeful sights, smells and excitement of Morroco and not have to get a taxi into it all the time. The Alhambra ticked all these boxes and more. The... More
