Do not book this Riad ! The owner is horrible ! He is only interested in money. The atmosphere is so cold there. You get no information, no one is interested in you. They are very rude ! The rooms are beuatifull but breakfast is always the same : panecake, juice (water with limonade), bread and jam Fes is great... more

Riad al Pacha The good news about Riad al Pacha, the hotel we stayed at in Fes, is that it’s in a terrific location inside the medina, close to the Bab El Guissa and one of Fes’ main walking streets, with parking very close by. The bad news is that the owner, Mr. Rashid, is unscrupulous and purposely double books... more

The palace is beautiful, but as a hotel it really does not work. - the whole place is cold in winter - little is done against that; - some of the rooms can hardly be heated adequately; - the light is terrible; - the rooms are not comfortable - no chairs, no or useless space; - breakfast is insipid: four... more

Made a booking by internet yet when arrived was told there was no booking even though I could show a reservation number: They then told us we could stay at the Arabesque at a higher price which we did after six hour bus trip. Something fishy here. Fes touts are relentless and we were also conned several times by taxi... more

When we arrived at the Riad there was standing water on the bathroom floor and the room was in poor shape. We were told to take it or leave it and not given any alternative. Despite the fact that we never stayed there we never got a refund. Since then they are just ignoring us. I my opinion that makes... more

We received a confirmation of our booking the 8th April for the AICHA Suite VIP for the 28th April to the 1st May. We had to pay the total amount in advance (the 20th April), and we received a confirmation on the 24th. How surprised we were when we arrived and when M. BENHAMOR told us that the Riad was... more

The riad is beautiful, at least the patio and dining/breakfast area. The owner and staff are also friendly. But the rooms are not very comfortable, despite the big beds. The lights are very dim, the room and bathroom are very cold, and this riad feels more commercial and less personal that other places we have stayed in during our holidays... more

We have just returned from a week at Riad Al Pacha. Over Christmas. The staff were great but the owner was the rudest most insensitive man who was just out to take our money!!! My travelling companion got very ill from something she ate & he did nothing to help us. Even though our travel agent said we could pay... more

My wife and I stayed for one week in this riad in November 2006 and found it to be full of character and beautifully restored. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the owner, Rachid. Our room was very spacious, with a very comfortable bed and clean linen, but because of its large size, and that of the bathroom,... more

We celebrated my girlfriend's birthday at the Riad Al Pacha in Fes in December 2005 and found the accomodation and the service very, very good. We negotiated an excellent price via email beforehand. Upon arrival we were met at the airport by a most friendly guide and driven to the Riad. We then had our room upgraded to a lovely... more
