This riad was something special, like out of 1001 nights. Owner and daughter were fluent in English, but make sure you bring your french in order to speak to the dada's at breakfast time! Owner was able to organise an official guide (very important if you want to experience the real medina away from the main streets), and a driver... more

The Riad is actually located quite closely to one of the main thoroughfares within the walled city, but is also within five minutes walking of the heart of the medina (souks). French is the other predominant language spoken in Morocco and if you don't speak it, you likely wont get the great service we did (sorry to say). The Riad... more

To begin with, getting to the riad was a little bit of a hassle. The taxi dropped me off 'relatively' close to the riad but I had to ask around for directions. Make sure that you have a map available when you arrive, you'll need it in order to find your way or at least to ask questions from someone... more

Our driver couldn't get very near the place since it is down a small alley filled with garbage. We were very concerned, but once the door opened - it was absolutely beautiful. It is all tile, sculptured plaster and beautiful ceilings. It also has a lovely roof area for sitting. It is small - 7 rooms- but very nice for... more

Let me say that the interior or Riad Sara is truly beautiful and charming, for the price, a great place to stay, located on the edge of the medina. Rooms were of a fair size, clean and thoroughly enjoyeable. In terms of negatives - the Riad itself is a little difficult to find, you will have to ask a couple... more

The public areas are very beautiful, with a traditional decorations, but also very cold in december. The room was good, but not great, a little bit shabby, and we also found a cockroach in the bathroom, which was not pleasant. The breakfast, when finally served, was not bad, but it took a longer than promised time to get it, and... more

We stayed junior suite for 3 nights and it was tolerable, i suppose. The actual riad was very beautiful but the management was terribly unhelpful (and young...I believe she must've been around 20). Also, the premises was somewhat unkempt...we actually had a roach in our bathroom and there was an old lingering smell in our suite. The plus was the... more

The most beautiful riad during 20 traveling days in morocco! The position is very good, the rooms enormous, the service unexceptionable considering that you’re not sleeping in to a big hotel! If your’re looking for a good and not so expensive accommodation I warmly suggest you this place! We’ve been treated just like two princess! more

We have stayed in this wonderful riad for 3 nights, and it was absolutely amazing!! The breakfasts were great, very friendly people and the atmosphere is fantastic! The location of the riad is very convinient to both getting a taxi and waling around the medina. It might be a little cold though in the evenings, but provided warm blanket will... more
