The Riad Fes is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. There are so many exquisite and immense spaces and courtyards. Our room was larger than the main floor of our home!! It was early January and the heat was not quite sufficient for us on one of the three nights, and there was spotty hot water.... More

My group of 9 (2 families with 5 children) spent 2 nights at the Riad over Christmas. We were extremely impressed with the facilities; the room was spacious and comfortable, great welcome snacks and great setting overlooking the internal covered courtyard. We had 3 of the rooms on the floor, and all were equally attractive. My only complaint was minimal... More

Having stayed at several Relais Chateau I was expecting the same sort of quality. I was faced with indifference from the staff. We had a lovely suite15 x 30 with bath of the same size room. The only natural light was from an inner court yard seen from the glass windws of the suite. No way to open windows or... More

Dear Linworldtraveler, Thank you for your review. I am very sorry that you were disappointed by our services. As I have already explained in my previous answers, Riad Fès is located in the center on the medieval city of Fez. Some technical issues may happen. I very well remember that night: it was raining and there was a power cut... More

We stayed here for our first night in Fes and then switched to another riad after being sorely disappointed by Riad Fes. The staff were snobby, off-hand and indifferent and while the lobby is impressive the room was not. We could have been in any hotel suite in the world, not Morocco. It was far too modern, cold and austere.... More

Dear Madeleine V, Thank you for sharing your experience at Riad Fès on Tripadvisor. There is no accounting for taste! True. I will not blame you, because you did not like the room you had. But, I would prefer to have an honest and frank feedback upon the check-out. You were very nice with us at the desk telling us... More

My sister and I stayed here in Feb 2010 and we loved it! The bathroom was black and very beautiful with a really comfortable deep bath tub. This place had the best Hamman Spa that we had anywhere in Morocco (and Turkey for that matter). The dinner menu was a little limited for my sister who could not stomach meat... More

Lovely site, well restored lovely rooms, comfortable beds. Friendly staff, good food including a copious breakfast. Let down by sloppy construction and fittings. Bathroom beautiful to look at but the shower floor sloped away from the drain and towards the wc. Other guests in our party had bathroom problems. Not enough light in the room, no central switches, stereo didn't... More

Dear 1anon, Thank you for your feedback. I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us, apart from the issues written in your comment. Regarding the bathroom, I'm really sorry that you were not able to understand the shower's system! And that's just sad! You were in a suite located in our new part that we call "baroque". The... This is the number one Riad in Marrakech for a reason. It is amazing. We had our breath taken away from the moment we entered! It has been maintained and decorated beautifully. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a junior suite which had its own balcony and was beautiful. The service was above expectations, even with a turn down... More

Riad Fez was cool, clean, and relaxing. The terrace had beautiful views of the ancient city. The lobby was spectacular. We enjoyed the courtyard facing the pool. The rooms were spacious and the bed comfortable. More

Aside from an ordinary breakfast setup and no shower in the bathroom, this accommodation is amazing - a true riad that is a treat for the eyes. Dinner was superb, so the standard breakfast was a disappointment. More

It is part of the Leading hotel of the world chain, rightly so. The personnel is very nice and kind , in the lobby as well as in the bar or at the restaurant. We had a nice dinner in the hotel with a more than reasonable price. Tl look for something to improve: breakfast could be better with more... More
