We recently visited Fes for 7 nights and had the good fortune of staying at Ryad Mabrouka. It was wonderful - exceeding our expectations in every way. For starters, the Ryad is impeccably restored. It is located just a few minutes walk from the Medina and conveniently situated near a petite Taxi car park. The winding alley leading to the... More

As it was our last night in Morocco, we wanted to splash out a little. We found this place through Lonely Planet book. We arrived too late for dinner, but were greeted very kindly and warm with fresh mint tea and biscuits. These were served to us outside in the beautiful courtyard garden. Our double room was exactly what we... More

Well located -Fes medina is a short walk away - helpful and welcoming staff and above average food for Morocco. Our room was interesting with the bed up a small wooden staircase, still inside our room, so you slept a full room height above the sitting room and bathroom. Great if you never feel like getting up in the night,... More

We spent three nights at Ryad Mabrouka in Fez in late March 2013. We stayed at several riads during our trip and this one was BY FAR our favorite. Some of the best food I have eaten in a long time (best food in Morocco, hands down) and the staff could not have been more welcoming, kind, helpful and warm.... More

We spend one night at the Ryad Mabrouka in December 2012, as part of our road trip of Morocco. The Ryad itself was beautiful, in a convenient location - although it did take us a while to find it, but that was more down to my navigational skills than anything else... The hosts at the Ryad were very welcoming &... More

I highly recommend Ryad Mabrouka! We stayed in a number of riads during our trip across Morocco and this was my favorite. The rooms are not only spotlessly clean, but it is all the little details that make it great. The rooms are wonderfully restored and decorated with authentic Moroccan furniture and antiques. They also have locally made soaps in... More

We stayed a wonderful 3 days in this amazing Riad situated just 2 minutes walk from the main Talaa Kebeera street that leads to all the souks and the very heart of the medina. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood against the medina walls and very close to taxi access - excellent. The courtyard is wonderful full of trees,... More

By far the highlight of our trip to Morocco! Pierre and Carolyn were excellent hosts. The rooms were beautifully restored. Gurgling fountains, gorgeous garden, excellent and attentive service. They could easily have arranged all our needs while in the area. I would recommend that without hesitation. We spent five days there and hated to leave. Make sure and leave time... More

I have been left with a very unique and special memory of Fez. Looking through a scrapbook of pictures detailing the restoration of this property you can see the patience, care and dedicated craftsmanship that went into making Ryad Mabrouka what it is today. I stayed in the Attarine Suite and enjoyed dinner and breakfast on an enclosed terrace with... More

Could not believe there's such a nice riad located just footsteps from the Medina. I like every bit of the design - colors, furniture, lighting, tiles, plantation, that makes the raid like an artpiece. Owner and staff members there are really nice. Food is excellent too. Best tangin dish I had had in my Morocco trip.
