Great property and welcoming hosts (even though we didn't speak French). Loved the rooftop for a beer or some mint tea in the evenings. Perfect location for exploring the Fez medina. Our bathroom was huge. The furniture in our room was beautiful as was the whole property. I would stay here again! More

It was our first time in Morocco and the Ryad was all that we had expected. It is hidden away down a winding alley in the Medina and from the outside looks nothing special - but this is the charm of the Ryads - they conceal their beauty until you get inside the front door. Our room was on the... More

The Ryad Mabrouka was everything that we had hoped it would be. It was historic and beautiful, our room was lovely, and the two dinners that we had there were absolutely delicious. The owners are French and the staff is Moroccan--which was a perfect combination. When my husband and I were there last spring, we really enjoyed the time we... More

I loved this hotel for the lovely staff and amazing dishes prepared by the chef but also for its beauty. The mosaics on the tables, floors and walls are beautiful. all the doors of the rooms are ancient large and very high doors. The rooms have very high ceilings which adds to the beauty of the place and all furniture... More

This is a fantastic place to spend a few days in. We spent here 4 days at the end of July. We got the room Medersa whose only issue was the stinky loo...but this is due to the Moroccan poor quality of the hydraulics. The room as very big and beautifully decorated in traditional moroccan style. There was a pool... More

Do not let the exterior or entrance scare or fool you. I panicked until I finally reached in interior. The walk to the ryad and its exterior are very misleading! The inner courtyard is beautiful. It appears to be an older Ryad, but has a lot of character. The owner and staff were very helpful and friendly. Really did everything... More

I stayed here on a lightening half-term visit to Fez with my two sons (wife unable to come due to work committments). Although the hotel is certainly pricy, I wanted a place that was authentically old, Morrocan in style, close to the Medina, and with a pool in case my boys found it all too hot. It turned out that... I've stayed in the Ryad Mabrouka three times -- January 2010, spring 2010, and May 2011. I've stayed in three different rooms, each time with a baby/toddler and friends or family in tow. This time I had the Attarine Suite -- an absolutely beautiful loft-style room in an out-of-the-way location that makes it quieter than the ground floor rooms (where... More

The ryad is very attractive inside. The rooms are lovely too. The food wasn't that great. And it's basically the same meal each day. I asked them for a tour guide, and the man they recommended was very late, and then only took me around to shops and pressured me to buy something (so he could get commission), despite me... More

Our group of eight just returned from a 3 night stay at Ryad Mabrouka. We had a wonderful time. First the ryad is beautiful, lots of Moroccan tile, plants and great colors plus the rooms are very large. It has a lovely garden with a small pool as well as a rooftop terrace with a 360 degree view over Fes... More
