Riad Layalina was the perfect base for our family holiday in Fes this Easter. A stone's throw from the entrance to the Medina, the location couldn't have been better. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the bathrooms had plenty of hot water, and the delicious breakfast really set us up for the day's exploring and adventure. We were looked after... More

We stayed at Riad Layalina for 4 nights in April 2012, 1 night in a suite and 3 nights in a triple room. There are 7 rooms around a beauitiful restored courtyard. There is a small plunge pool but it was a bit too cold when we were there. The location is just a few minutes walk from the a... More

Riad leylallina was the highlight of our trip and we could not recommend it enough. The staff (two young chaps) at the riad made our stay in fes stress free, with knowledgable guides, taxis and excursions organised on our request.  Breakfast was great and when we mentioned getting a train to Marrakech at 6am, the staff were only too happy... Based on the TripAdvisor reviews I booked three night in this Riad and I was not disappointed. First, the location is superb. In all the Riads that I have ever visited this was the easiest one to find and least amount of walk to get to. Yet, it was easy to access to the best parts of the Medina and... More

The Riad is located just next to an enterance of the Fès medina. It is right next to a parking lot, so if you have rented a car, like we did, it is very easy to access. We were here in the last week of December with a family of 4. 2 kids of 14 and 12. We stayed one... More

We chose this Riad from the positive reviews in Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. Close to the Medina (2min walk) and friendly, helpful staff. It has been tastefully restored but you need to be prepared for the hard mattresses. You can grab an excellent take away meal for approx US$3 from the Medina cooked in front of you and... More

Dear guests, Thank you for your review. Please let me clarify the following points : You recommend to hire a guide in the medina. This is not a good tip at all... Authorities discourage this as you will meet only false guides, which can spoil your day if not your stay. If you wish to visit the medina with a... More

Riad Layalina and it's staff made our trip to Fez one to remember. I cannot even begin to explain all that they did for us during our three day trip. Abdul, Jerome and their older brother were so accommodating and kind. Thank you guys! Fez is a magical place and Riad Layalina is awe inspiring beautiful. The riad being in... More

I really enjoyed staying at Riad Layalina, the location is good and the staff are great. Ali was a great driver for excursions and Jerome was a very kind host. The Riad is in a good location a few minutes' walk from the main parts of the medina, with lots of shopping and restaurants within 5-10 minutes' walk. The decor... More

Rooms very spacious, with a huge bathroom. We were on the bottom floor, handy to the plunge pool. Only the owner was very good with english. He was very good and organised our train tickets from fez to Tangier. We had use of the fridge in the kitchen where we could keep our tonic water and gin and also make... More
