i booked into the riad based on good reviews and the fact that it has an in-house hammam. unfortunately though, i have never been so strangely treated in a hotel before, and left after just one night instead of my scheduled four. i was arriving by overnight bus coming from merzouga which usually arrives about 4am. i had advised the... We stayed here 23rd - 26th Feb 2012, 3 days at the end of a 9 day trip around Morocco. We were arriving late; I emailed the manager/owner about this and was told a taxi could be organised to get us from the station, and a dinner would be prepared for us. I knew this would be costly, but given... More

This is a nicely restored riad in the amazing medina. The swimming pool, though small, is a relief in the heat of the summer days. The room is airconditionned. The terrace is a peaceful place where to sit after dinner to enjoy the sweet air of the night and to hear the calls to the prayer coming from different directions.... More

We stayed for 3 nights in this riad at the beginning of our trip to Morocco - it was so beautiful, amazingly restored, lots of attention given to every detail and a real delight to stay in. Laurence and Agnes were friendly and helpful, food was good. I can't recommend it highly enough. A really peaceful oasis in the middle... More

We stayed for two nights. The rooms were clean and the riad itself was really nice. Don't bother getting the dinner they offer; it wasn't anything special. The only down side about the riad was that it was very hard to find. The staff wasn't very helpful, suggesting that we pay a kid to help us find it. A map... More

The two nights we spent in the Zitouna were a perfect antidote to a week of hard traveling, and a welcome relief from the hussle and intensity of Fez el Bali Souk. Our room was tastefully decorated with love and attention to detail, as was the entire Riad down to the tile detail on the stairs to the beautiful terrace... More

We spent 4 days in Riad Zitouna - 2 adults and 3 teenagers. The Riad was beautifully restored and great attention had been given to every detail. The pool was very clean and caught the sun in the mornings, and the the views from the rooftop terrace were fantastic. We stayed in the family suite, which was immaculately clean, and the... More

What an amazing riad, sympathetically renovated and decorated in traditional Moroccan style. The views from the terraces were spectacular and the accommodation was spotlessly clean and well looked after. The food was tasty and appetising. All the staff were friendly, informative and welcoming and made every effort to make your stay as comfortable and as hassle-free as possible. We took... More

....What can I say that has not been said yet? This superbe riad is located in the centre of the Medina. Be careful and ask Laurence and Agnes to book a taxi for you from the airport to the Riad, 'cause the first time it can be hard to find it by yourself! Every detail is made with passion, dinner... 5 of us stayed there for 3 nights and we couldn't fault it. The rooms were great, the hosts fantastic who went out of their way to make the stay memorable, and the Riad is situated not too far from the Blue Gate, that is when you get your bearings and start to know your way around. We took taxis... More
